The Salvation Army Has donated $7,000 to Snack In A Pack, an organization that gives small meals and snacks to children for the weekends and holidays. Waynesville R-VI Student Services Director Courtney Long explains Snack In A Pack Further.

Long says that the donation from the Salvation Army was “incredibly generous” and extremely helpful given the recent food shortage.

Snack In a Pack also received a $500 donation from Hoppers. Hoppers matched a $250 donation from the BINGO group that meets each Monday at Hoppers the donation was given to the organization. Individuals may donate to Snack in a Pack by sending a check or making a gift online. Please make checks payable to Waynesville R-VI School District with SIAP on the memo line.
