Skill Training Event will teach you to garden, fish, hunt, bake and can

If you teach a man to fish he will eat for a lifetime, that is the driving factor of an upcoming skills trade event being held by L-Life Food Pantry. The Train to Sustain skill trade event will allow those attending to learn skills that will help them be self sufficient. The one day event will include multiple classes. Ken Ogilvie said the end result in learning to grow your own food is rewarding…

Angela Fries with L-Life said they will have a class on canning, and baking bread…

There will also be a class on fishing, garden preparation, and hunting. The Train to Sustain Skill Trade Event will be on Saturday April 6th starting at 9am, at Freedom Church of the Nazarene. The cost is $40 per person with a discount for L-Life Food Pantry Clients. Fries asks anyone who can to sponsor a client and buy them a ticket.
