The Laclede County Health Department reports that six more confirmed cases of COVID-19 were diagnosed in Laclede County on Thursday. That brings the total to 159, with 32 of those cases being active. One of the new cases is an employee or resident of a long-term care facility. Many of the new cases that are being discovered do not know where they contracted the virus, meaning they are being infected while out in the community. Health Department Administrator, Charla Baker, says any community contact is a possible exposure risk. Missouri set another record on Thursday, with over 1,600 new cases and 20 more deaths.
