Single digits reported Friday on new Covid Cases in Laclede County

While the numbers in Laclede County were down, that was not the case statewide. Missouri set a record on Friday for the number of new cases, with nearly four thousand cases identified over the last 24 hours. The number of deaths also increased by 25, to a total of 3,131. Missouri has reported over 18-thousand cases over the last week, and 85 people have died. The state’s positivity rate stands at 16 percent. Over 1,800 people remain in the hospital due to COVID.
