Teams from the state of Texas have fared well in the 2021 NCAA Tournament, and the Longhorn State will represent half of the Final Four field after Baylor and Houston both won in the Elite Eight on Monday night. Baylor’s 81-72 victory over Arkansas propelled the Bears to their first Final Four since 1950, while Houston’s 67-61 win over Oregon State sent the Cougars there for the first time since 1984.

With the two now set to play each other on Saturday, the state of Texas is guaranteed to have a representative in the national title game next Monday night.

Tuesday, March 29, TWO TEAMS FROM L.A. TAKE ON 2 NO. 1 SEEDS……

College basketball fans were in for a treat on Monday night, with a women’s NCAA Tournament game between UConn and Baylor that felt more like a championship matchup than an Elite Eight showdown. The game went down to the wire, but No. 1 UConn did what they seem to always do and punched a ticket to the Final Four, their 13th straight, with a 69-67 win.

Arizona asks Aari McDonald to do just about everything for the Wildcats. And just about every game, she delivers all she’s got.
McDonald scored 33 points in a dizzying display of razzle-dazzle shot making and gutsy leadership in crunch time, carrying the No. 3 seed Wildcats to a 66-53 win over No. 4 seed Indiana on Monday night, sending Arizona to its first Final Four in women’s NCAA Tournament history.
