Camden County Election Results

Just under 16 percent of registered Camden County voters cast a ballot during Tuesday’s General Municipal Election. Camden County voters approved a three-percent tax on the sale of marijuana in the county. Camdenton, Osage Beach, Linn Creek, and Sunrise Beach voters also approved a three-percent tax on the sale of marijuana in their cities. Voters in Village of Four Seasons rejected a local use tax question. Voters in the Northwest Fire Protection District approved a 25-cent tax levy to help fund that district. It was a tight race for three seats on the Camdenton R-3 School Board. Winners were Michelle Creed, Troy Risner, and Callie Henze. School of the Osage voters elected R. Todd Miller, Carrie Hunsader, and Alison Schneider to serve on the School Board. Macks Creek R-5 voters elected Liz Stoner, Scott Gould, and Sara Beth Stoufer to serve on that School Board. Climax Springs voters elected Ryan Williams, Shannon Hodges, and Cody Noell to the School Board. Voters in the Cam-Mo Ambulance District elected Kenneth “Ron” Riley to be the Sub-District One Director. Voters in the Camden County Ambulance District elected Jamie Rugen to represent them in Sub-District Five. Voters in Osage Beach elected Justin Hoffman to be the Ward Two Alderman. Voters in Sunrise Beach elected Susan E. Schneider, Gregory Gordon, and Gerald Jasper to serve as Trustees.
