Thursday morning the Laclede County Commission met with Paragon Architecture to discuss plans for a new 911 Dispatch center at the County Courthouse. Ideas were brought forward about the inside of the building such as room placement, size, and various doorways. Plans for an outdoor plaza, however, had a common theme of preserving history that Presiding Commissioner Randy Angst and the rest of the team stuck to.
Potential, but not guaranteed, ideas also included a gazebo, and lots of “low-maintenance landscaping”, which will make the courthouse look nice, while still focusing most of the budget on the 911 center
