Show Me Green Tax Holiday Begins Today

The Show-Me Green SalesTax Holiday begins today and exempts state sales tax on retail sales of qualifying energy star certified new appliances, up to one-thousand-five-hundred dollars per appliance. Executive Director of The Lebanon Area Chamber of Commerce Darrel Polluck says that it doesn’t just end at the state level.

The energy star-certified appliances that qualify for the holiday are washers and dryers, water heaters, dishwashers, air conditioners, furnaces, refrigerators, freezers, heat pumps, and more.
