Show-Me Green Sales Tax Holiday coming to most of Lebanon

The Show-Me Green Sales Tax Holiday is coming up next week, allowing Missouri shoppers an opportunity to purchase energy-star certified appliances without being charged state sales tax. The tax-exempt purchases in Lebanon consist of Energy Star Certified, Clothes washers and Dryers, Refrigerators, Freezers, Dishwashers, Water heaters, Furnaces, Air conditioners, and Heat pumps up to $1500 per appliance, the exception is those purchases made in the Southdale Shopping Center, Lebanon Marketplace, and in the Fountains Community Improvement District. Pollock said that the hope is that consumers who come to Lebanon to shop for the tax-exempt items will make other purchases at Lebanon businesses.
