Should Students go back to school? That’s a question being asked by school and health officials.

Most area schools plan on heading back to the classroom on August 24th. Several contingency plans have been put in place by area districts that depend on the current state of the COVID-19 virus in the state. Laclede County Health Department Administrator, Charla Baker, says it is yet-to-be-determined if it’s a good idea to bring students back to the classroom……….

The Lebanon R-3 School District is scheduled to start the 2020-2021 school year on August 24th. Many students will return to the classroom on Monday for the beginning of summer school.
