Shots fired at a buggy in Texas County

A call about a man shooting at people on Deason Drive in Texas County has led to the arrest of a Licking man. According to the Texas County Sheriff’s Office, Deputies were called to Deason Drive on Tuesday afternoon where a man said he was leaving his home with his wife and children in a buggy when a neighbor fired a rifle at them. Following an investigation, officers arrested 46-year-old Chadwin Wade for 3 counts of assault and armed criminal action. He is being held in the Texas County Jail without bond. No one was struck by gunfire during the incident.
