The American Red Cross is reporting a shortage of convalescent plasma which can help people recover from COVID-19. According to the Red Cross, since April they have distributed over 20-thousand convalescent plasma products nationwide including 450 in Missouri. Individuals who have fully recovered and received a verified COVID-19 diagnosis are urged to sign up to give convalescent plasma now by completing the donor eligibility form at RedCrossBlood.org.
