The topic of Short Term Rentals in Lebanon received a lot of attention during the Monday night Lebanon City Council meeting. The property owner at 337 LaSalle appeared before City Council to appeal the Planning and Zoning Commission decision to deny a conditional use permit for a Short Term Rental. Code Administrator Joe Berkich explained…..

Anyone who wants to operate a short term rental like VRBO, Airbnb, etc, in the city limits of Lebanon, is required to submit a conditional use permit request to the City regardless of the address. Those who are operating a short term rental without a conditional use permit will be issued a letter of cease and desist, until they apply for an receive the conditional use permit.
