Sheriff David Millsap says we need to enforce current gun laws on the books

Gun violence is up in Missouri especially in the three big city’s, St. Louis, Kansas City, and Springfield. Laclede County Sheriff, David Millsap says, the state has laws in place to send the offenders to prison but to many court officials in those city’s are soft on punishment:

Millsaps says, in rural areas of Missouri he has scene more rigorous punishment on gun violence:

Millsap says, it also takes community involvement and reporting anyone who is a known felon that has a gun. He says that is a big part of cracking down on violence.
