Sexual Misconduct on a Greyhound

A Lebanon man is facing charges after allegedly exposing himself on a Greyhound bus that was traveling on I-44. The investigation began when a passenger on the bus, who was traveling with a 15 year old girl, said she woke to see the man across from her exposing himself. She notified the bus driver, who pulled off the Highway, and called 9-1-1. Officers spoke with the woman, who said that she took a picture of the man exposing himself, so she would have evidence. When the officer took the suspect off the bus and questioned him, he first tried to deny his actions, but then changed his story. The suspect, identified as 37 year old Ronnie Bernard Samuel, allegedly fought with officers, when they were putting handcuffs on him, injuring one of the officers. Samuel is charged with sexual misconduct, resisting arrest and assault. His next hearing date is set for February 24th.
