Sexual Misconduct in Lincoln

A Benton County man is facing charges related to drug distribution. 55-year-old Ricky W Shepard Senior of Lincoln is accused of attempting to entice a 17-year-old girl to have sex with him in exchange for marijuana. Shepard allegedly called the victim to come to his house, and while she was there he called her aside and said he would give her marijuana in trade for sex. The victim stated that she refused, and he blocked the door when she tried to leave. After slipping past Shepard, the girl called her mother to come to get her. Shepard is charged with felony attempting to deliver a controlled substance, attempt to deliver a controlled substance to a minor, and sexual misconduct. He is currently in custody pending bond with a hearing set for today(8/31).
