The Laclede County Health Department reported 7 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday. Health Department Administrator, Charla Baker, says many of the new cases are tied to the Summer School program at the Joel E. Barber School District………

Baker says there were also other possible public exposure locations that were identified during contact tracing of the new cases………….

Those locations include The Fieldhouse and Colton’s Steakhouse in Springfield on August 1st, Community Baptist Church on August 2nd, Hillcrest Baptist Church in Lebanon on July 26th and August 1st, Bethlehem Baptist Church in Richland on August 1st, the Beltone Hearing Aid Center in Lebanon on August 3rd, and the Happy Trails R.V. Service Center on July 24th. Baker says the department will be closely monitoring the outbreak at Joel E. Barber school. Missouri added 1241 new cases on Wednesday and 7 new deaths.
