Serious injury crash in Camden County

A one vehicle crash in Camden County sent a teen to the hospital for treatment on Sunday. According to the Highway Patrol, 22 year old Kenneth Bentrup of Osage Beach was traveling on Route D, when he swerved to miss a deer, ran off the road and hit several trees. Bentrup received minor injuries and refused treatment, but his 15 year old passenger was seriously injured. The 15 year old unnamed person was taken to Lake Regional Hospital for treatment of injuries he sustained during the 8:25pm wreck.
