Senior recruiting officials from the Chicago Police Department were visitors to Fort Leonard Wood last week. They were on post to meet with leadership and tour Fort Wood in preparation for a special hiring fair scheduled to be held on June 4th and 5th. The visit last week and the hiring fair are part of a new Chicago Police Department initiative aimed at hiring transitioning service members, veterans, and their families.
