Senate Work Held Up By Filibuster

His bill is designed to prevent a landfill from being built in Raymore near Kansas City. The filibuster lasted until 5PM, when a forced 2-hour recess resulted in its conclusion. It could be brought up again on the Senate floor before the close of Session next Friday.
