Senate Could Approve Adult High School

Missouri currently has four adult high schools – and a fifth one could be on the horizon in the Kansas City area. The Missouri Senate has passed a bill that would allow one in the Kansas City area, as well as transfer the authority of such high schools to the Department of Social Services. State Senator Holly Thompson Rehder says the Legislature was requested to reduce some barriers in the grant-making process for daycares serving the children of these adult students…

 

Because of changes added, the legislation goes back to the House for reconsideration.
