The Highway Patrol was called to a report of an aircraft down at Lake of the Ozarks, this morning. According to the Highway Patrol, an Ultralight aircraft landed in Lake Of The Ozarks this morning, near the 3.5-mile marker on the Little Niangua Arm of the lake. The pilot reported that he had engine problems and had to land in the lake. He was assisted by a boater on the lake and was taken to a nearby dock. The aircraft sunk and was later located by troopers using sonar. The pilot received a minor injury to his face during the incident.
