Seasonal hires a challenge for the City of Lebanon

The City of Lebanon is considering temp services to fill positions in the parks department. During a recent work session, Human Resources Supervisor Kathy Millikin said the parks department has 36 spots that need to be filled for the season and that has proved to be difficult….

But she said out of the 15 letters they sent to the rehires only a couple showed up to update their paperwork.

Millikin said they would like to bring a contract to City Council to hire a temp service to provide them the seasonal employee’s they need to fill those open positions. The contract could be presented for approval at an upcoming meeting.
