Search For Saint Robert Shooter Continues

The search continues today for a person of interest in a shooting over the weekend at a St. Robert hotel. Authorities say the shooting outside of the Budget Inn hotel at 127 Fina Avenue took place on Saturday. The 38-year-old victim was reported to be a man from Florida. He was flown to a Springfield Hospital and was reported to be in stable condition. The weapon involved in the shooting has been located.

Police do not believe there is any danger to the public. The Saint Robert Police Department says there’s a possibility it could be a case of self-defense, so officers are encouraging that person to come forward.
