(Waynesville)–Screening will take place on November 17th for children whose parents want them to attend the Waynesville PACE pre-school program at Williams Early Childhood Center on Fort Leonard Wood. Children who turned three years old by August 1st of this year could qualify for the 3-year-old program and children who turned four years old by August 1st could qualify for the four-year-old program. Children who meet the screening criteria receive three hours of classroom instruction in either morning or afternoon sessions five days a week. Transportation to and from the half-day programs is not provided, but there is no cost to attend. PACE is a Title One Pre-school offered by the Waynesville School District.
