School Board approves $290,000 for furniture

The Lebanon R-3 School Board approved bids for the purchase of furnishings for the new Early Childhood Center during their meeting this week. School Superintendent David Schmitz said the furniture is for 10 classrooms in the 25-thousand square foot facility..

He said there are multiple vendors who are engaged in the project and they want to work local. The bids that were awarded for the furniture came in at around $290-thousand-dollars.
