It’s been a busy overnight and morning for electric crews around the Ozarks.  Scattered power outages were reported all over the area: Camden County, Dallas County, Laclede County, Maries County, Phelps County, Polk County, Pulaski County, Texas County, and Wright County all reported outages. In Lebanon, city electric crews were moving from section to section within the city restoring power due to the ice buildup. Some areas were restored, only to have them go out again as melting and wind gusts started and power lines started to snap back into their normal height above ground. City and area cooperative crews are warning that more outages could occur as temperatures rise and power lines snap back.

The forecast for this weekend is calling for a warm-up and the ice and snow should be gone.
