Saturday Is A Big Day And Night At The Phelps County Fair

Saturday is the biggest day and night at the Phelps County Fair being held in the Fairgrounds on Highway 63 South in Rolla.
One of tonight’s biggest entertainment event will be a rough and tumble demolition derby at 8 p-m.
On the live entertainment front, The J. D. Heckler Band will perform on the Grove Stage from 6:30 to 8:15. These four talented musicians from Mid Missouri will play a wide variety of songs, everything from Alabama to Z-Z Top. Stepping onto the Grove stage at 8:30 will be Dave Perryman and the Country Review, performing classic country music. Dave has opened for Mickey Gilley, Johnny Lee, George Jones, Earnest Tubb, and many other Nashville acts.
There will be a tractor show at 3 o’ clock and tractor games at four. A cornhole tournament begins at 5 o’ clock this afternoon. A petting zoo will be in operation from 10 o’ clock this morning to 10 o’ clock this evening.
There will be carnival rides and other attractions like a frozen t-shirt contest this evening at 7:15 and lots of food vendors.
General admission to the Phelps County Regional Fair will be $20 at the gate for people age 11 and over, $15 for children age 6-through-10 and for seniors age 65 and over, and free for children age 5 and under.
