Saturday and Sunday Are MDC Eagle Days In Springfield
Bald Eagles Can Be Victims of a Motoring Accident
The Missouri Department of Conservation will be having its annual Eagle Days event today and tomorrow at the Springfield Nature Center. The public is invited to attend from 9 o’ clock this morning to 4 o’ clock this afternoon. Eagle Days events will be held again tomorrow from 12:30 to 4:30 in the afternoon.
There is no admission charge.
There are plenty of opportunities to see eagles during Eagle Days. People can see one up close from Dickerson Park Zoo, as well as try to spot wild ones out on the lake at the Springfield Nature Center.
Along with that, there will be educational opportunities and fun crafts. It’s an event for the whole family.
