Salvation Army Tree of Lights kickoff is Thursday November 12

(St. Robert)–The official kickoff for this year’s Pulaski County Unit of the Salvation Army’s Tree of Lights campaign will take place one week from today, Thursday, November 12th, at 11:30 in the morning in front of Paul’s Furniture in St. Robert. At the event, this year’s honorary campaign chairperson, Jim Mitchell of Richland, will kick a football to signify the campaign kickoff. A kickoff luncheon will be served afterward at Seller’s Sexton in St. Robert. This year’s campaign goal is $90,000 and bellringing will begin in the county on Friday, November 27th. Sign up for bellringers is now underway. Any individual or group interested in participating may sign up by going to www.pulaskicountysalvationarmy.com. This year, all bellringers will be expected to take several sanitary steps to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
