Sales tax revenue remains strong

Sales tax numbers are up in many area communities, including Laclede County. Presiding County Commissioner Randy Angst tells us that sales tax is up about 7 percent for the year; however, they still remain cautious as the next budget session will begin soon.

In September general revenue sales tax in Laclede County was up by more than $35-thousand-dollars from 2019.
