Salem Man Dies in Accident

A 78-year-old Salem man was killed in a single-vehicle accident at 2:00 pm Tuesday in Crawford County. James L. Vaughn traveled off the right side of highway M, 1 mile south of Highway 8; he then struck a driveway, overturned, and struck a tree. Vaughn was ejected from his vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. This is Troop I’s second fatality of the year.
