Saint Robert Man Facing Pulaski County Charges

A man from St. Robert has been formally accused of first-degree assault and various other charges.

According to court documents, on June 10 at 12:27 am, Dixon Police responded to a residence where they encountered a severely bleeding victim with an open head wound. The victim recounted that an unfamiliar individual had forcefully entered his home, abruptly waking him up with aggressive shouts, demanding that he vacate the premises. The intruder proceeded to strike the victim using the stock of the victim’s own AR-15 rifle.

Law enforcement officers discovered that the rear door frame had been damaged, and substantial bloodstains were present on the victim’s porch, floor, and bed.

The victim also reported the theft of a .40 caliber Smith & Wesson pistol.

Witnesses confirmed that the intruder was Ryan Christian, a 20-year-old, who had recently entered a neighboring house to obtain food prior to trespassing into the victim’s residence and perpetrating the assault. They observed Christian fleeing through the alley behind the victim’s house after the incident.

Pulaski County Prosecutors have charged Christian with first-degree assault, first-degree burglary, armed criminal action, and two counts of firearm theft.

Christian was placed in Pulaski County Jail in Waynesville.
