Safe handling of fireworks to prevent injury

Fireworks account for around 9-thousand injuries across the country, many of which can be avoided by safe handling of fireworks. Some key things to remember when it comes to using fireworks are staying a safe distance away from fireworks that are being ignited, and don’t keep fireworks near where you are igniting them. It’s important to never let children ignite fireworks of any type or size, and always keep a water hose or buckets of water near you when igniting fireworks. Unless approved by the City of Lebanon, the sale of or shooting off Fireworks is prohibited in the City limits.
