The lack of affordable housing has been a big concern in the region for several years. Brian Thompson with Lebanon REDI says, since 2008, new housing starts have been nearly non-existenent. He says, the City of Lebanon has partnered with Lake of the Ozarks Council of Local Governments, Camdenton, Lake Area and Lake West Chamber of Commerce to hold a public workshop, Rural Housing 360 on Tuesday, December 3rd. Thompson says, the workshop is for employers who want help their employees find affordable housing:
