If you are traveling on Route 66 over the next couple of days you may notice some pretty special cars and trucks. The Route 66 Association of Missouri Motor Tour is underway, traveling from Pacific to Lebanon on a 3 day 2 night adventure. Cathy Dame with the Route 66 Society in Lebanon said the tour is an annual event that will give the group an opportunity to visit special places along Route 66.
The group will be touring the murals and a representation of historic Camp Joy at 9 a.m. Sunday morning at Boswell Park. Lebanon Mayor Jared Carr will be welcoming the Route 66 Motor Tour, and there will be a special dedication to honor long time Route 66 Society member and supporter Bill Wheeler.
