The Laclede County Route 66 Annual Membership meeting this Saturday (1/27/24) will see a group of 3 inducted into the Laclede County Route 66 Wall of Fame. The annual meeting will include a free chili-and-soup lunch, entertainment by Mitch Shields, reports on the Lebanon Route 66 Museum and 2024 Route 66 Festival, and a presentation from Miss Teen Route 66. This year, those to be inducted are Marie Williams, J. Floyd Caffey, and The Harris Family, all of whom had a significant impact along Route 66 in Laclede County. The group will also dedicate a park bench in honor of the late Ramona Lehman. The bench will be at Boswell Park in the Route 66 Pocket Park. The event will take place beginning with lunch at noon and the meeting to begin at 1. The Annual meeting of the Laclede County Route 66 Society will be held in the Route 66 Meeting Rooms at the Cowan Civic Center.
