It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Ronald Ross Windle, who left this world on November 3rd, 2024, at the age of 55. Born on January 11th, 1969, in Dallas, Texas, Ronald was the beloved son of John Presley Windle and Margaret Windle.
Ron proudly served his country in the United States Armed Forces as an Air Traffic Control Operator from March 24th, 1994, to February 1999. His time in the military was marked by dedication, discipline, and a commitment to safeguarding others. His service was a defining chapter in his life, and he carried the values learned in the military throughout his journey.
Ron pursued higher education and achieved a bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering and Cybersecurity. His intellectual curiosity and passion for aviation and technology were evident in the hobbies he pursued.
In 2008, Ron married the love of his life, Regina Leigh Kenney-Windle, with whom he shared many years of love, partnership, and joy. Together, they built a beautiful life, and he was a proud father to seven children. His devotion to his family was immeasurable, and he was a constant source of strength, guidance, and support for his loved ones.
Ron’s legacy will live on through his children, his wife, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be remembered for his sharp intellect, his unwavering dedication to his family, and his love for service—whether in the military, his professional career, or as a loving husband and father.
A memorial service will be held in his honor on November 8th, 2024 at Calvary Chapel Freewill Baptist Church at 4 pm.
Ronald’s memory will forever remain in our hearts, and his life will continue to inspire those who knew him. He is deeply missed but never forgotten.
