(Rolla)–A Stay-At-Home order will go into effect Monday morning at 8 o’clock in Rolla. The City Council has ordered non-essential businesses to close and individuals to stay home until May 11th. City residents are ordered not to leave home unless fulfilling an essential function or engaging in an essential activity. All intentional gatherings occurring outside a private residence are to cease. Weddings, funerals, wakes, and memorial services are listed as not essential activities but are permitted if less than 10 people attend. Rolla’s ordinance is modeled off an ordinance passed in Columbia last month.
