Rolla Shooting

Authorities in Phelps County are investigating a shooting at a party Saturday night. Officers with the Phelps County Sheriff’s Department responded to the 16000 block of Lockwood Drive in Doolittle. A Doolittle Fire Protection District spokesman said one man had been shot multiple times and was in cardiac arrest when emergency crews arrived. He later died from his injuries. Another suffered a gunshot wound to the leg, but the extent of his injuries is unknown. No suspects have yet been identified. The shooting is being investigated by the Phelps County Sheriff’s Department, Rolla Police, and the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
