Rolla officers seize approximately 53 capsules containing suspected fentanyl, around 29 grams of suspected methamphetamine, and multiple firearms.

The Phelps County Sheriff’s Department says a narcotics investigation by the Rolla Area Drug Enforcement task force has resulted in the arrest of 37-year-old Dannie J. Wilson of Newburg. Wilson has been charged with second-degree trafficking of drugs and delivery of a controlled substance. His bond was set at 200-thousand dollars. According to a Phelps County Sheriff’s Department news release, officers executed a search warrant on March 9th in the 17-thousand block of County Road 6120 in Edgar Springs. As a result of the search warrant, officers seized approximately 53 capsules containing suspected fentanyl, around 29 grams of suspected methamphetamine, and multiple firearms.
