Rolla Celebrates International Diversity Today (Saturday)
The 12th annual celebration of international diversity is taking place in downtown Rolla today .
The Celebration of Nations will begin with the Parade of Nations at 11 o’clock this morning, and will feature Missouri S-and-T international students carrying the flags of their home countries, as well as marching bands, local dignataries and camels.
The parade will start at the Chancellor’s Residence at the corner of 11th Street and State Street and will proceed east along 11th Street, turn south onto North Oak Street, concluding at the bandshell and festival lot.
There will be live entertainment at the bandshell from noon to 4 p-m.
A talent show is also planned.
Attendees will also be able to visit a variety of food, craft, and education vendors.
