Rogersville Man Sentenced to 25 Years

A Rogersville Missouri man has been sentenced in Federal Court for 25 years. 28 year old Jake Ethan Patterson was sentenced on Friday September 8th to 25 years in federal prison without parole. In June 2021 law enforcement seized two phones believing to be Patterson’s, and on those phones were videos and images of child pornography. He admitted that the photos and videos were his and that he had additional photos on his cellphone. Patterson pleaded guilty to two counts of of sexual exploitation of a child. The court also sentenced Patterson to spend the rest of his life on supervised release following incarceration.
