Road work on Highway 32

Crews for the Missouri Department of Transportation will be working on Highway 32 in Polk County later this week. beginning at 8 am on Wednesday crews will be sealing pavement with a mixture of rock and oil on Polk Court Route U between Route 13 and the end of state maintenance south of Bolivar and on Route 32 between 13 and South 16th Road west of Fair Play. The work will take place between 8 am and 6 pm. Drivers are encouraged to avoid Route U and Route 32 if possible during the project, otherwise, drivers can expect one-lane traffic with flaggers and a pilot vehicle guiding them through the work zones. Drivers on side roads are encouraged to wait for the pilot vehicle before entering the state routes. Drivers may be stopped for up to 15 minutes. Local residents will be able to get to driveways and entrances along the road. As always slow down when traveling in areas where crews are working.
