Richland Woman admits abducting her own child

A 31 year old Richland woman who admitted to abducting her own child and hiding him in a home in Laclede County will serve five years of supervised probation. Aubrey Ferguson appeared before 26th Circuit Judge Kenneth Hayden Wednesday and was given a suspended imposition of sentence. According to charges, Ferguson refused to return her son, to his custodial father. Ferguson still faces a charge of child abduction in Laclede County. A pre-trial hearing for that charge is scheduled for February 3rd, and a trial date of May 11th has been set.
