Richland residents petition to keep their Dollar General Store

(Richland)–Residents of the Richland area have learned that it’s very likely they will be losing their Family Dollar Store on January 31st of next year. A petition drive is currently underway to gather enough signatures to send to Family Dollar corporate headquarters to explain to them how important the Richland store is to members of the community. 205 signatures have been collected, as of mid-Thursday afternoon. The petition is available to sign at a location in front of the store in Richland. The location of the petition is indicated by red balloons.
