Richland Motorcycle Operator Seriously Injured Friday Evening

A Pulaski County motorcycle rider was seriously injured in a two-vehicle accident Friday evening on Highway 133, 5 and a half miles south of Richland.
According to the highway patrol, 21-year-old Cody L. Wingard of Richland was injured when a 2012 Subaru Impreza was turning left from a private drive and struck his northbound 2006 Harley Davidson Nighttrain motorcycle. The patrol says the Subaru driver fled from the scene of the accident.
Wingard was transported by Mercy Lifeline Air Ambulance to University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia.
