Richland man arraigned on first-degree assault and armed criminal action

A Richland man was arraigned in court in Pulaski County on charges of first-degree assault and armed criminal action. 35-year-old Richard Newton Wells is accused of causing serious physical injury to another person by stabbing him with a knife. Judge Colin Long set Richard Wells’s Bond at $500,000 and scheduled a bond review hearing for June 8th, and have no contact with the victim and utilize GPS Monitoring.
