Richland Man Airlifted To Springfield Hospital

A 63-year-old Richland man suffered serious injuries Thursday afternoon after the A.T.V. he was riding lost a tire, causing Charles D. Payne to be ejected from the vehicle. The accident occurred on Heartwood Road adjacent to I-44 in Laclede County. Payne was flown to Mercy Hospital in Springfield following the 4:45 p.m. accident.
