(Richland)–The city of Richland is planning on having its traditional celebration of holiday events on Saturday, December 12th. A Christmas parade is once again a highlight of the celebration this year, with a couple of notable changes. The parade will take place in the afternoon this year, starting at 4 o’ clock, and the direction of the parade will be reversed from last year, ending up in Shady Dell Park. Festivities that day will begin with a Holiday Run-Walk at 9 in the morning, followed by a holiday bazaar.
Here’s City Clerk Susan Alexander.

A Shady Dell Ole Time Christmas takes place on Saturday, December 12th, from 4:30 to 6:30 p-m in the Shady Dell Park Community building and Amphitheatre. There will be free packaged treats for children, free pictures with Santa, horseless carriage rides, Christmas music, and a tree lighting ceremony at 6:30.
